Ms. George Adkins taught many of us in the second grade at Jellico Elementary School. Ms. George was a dedicated teacher for 41 years. She has compiled  over one hundred pound cake recipes since her retirement in 1978. The recipes are contained in her book "Miss George's 115 Favorite Pound Cake Recipes."
